The Star Micronics CD4-1416 heavy-duty cash drawer is a compact, high-performance POS cash till engineered for UK retail shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants where counter space is limited. Part of Star's CD4 "Choice" Series, this 14-inch (350 mm) steel cash drawer provides high security and smooth roller-bearing performance, tested to over 1 million opening cycles.
Designed for full compatibility with major EPOS software including Shopify POS, Square, Epos Now, and Lightspeed, the CD4-1416 features a standard 24V RJ12 printer-driven interface. It plugs directly into Star receipt printers (such as the TSP100, TSP650, and mC-Print series) for automatic drawer opening on every transaction.
