KioskGem™ LCD 1x5 is a ruggedized electronic signature pad for use in public-access or unsupervised kiosk environments.
The durable tempered glass window protects the electronic LCD screen, which displays "electronic ink" under the pen tip in real-time as a user signs.
The unit can be affixed to a surface from the underside with no exposed fasteners, and the pen is tethered with a steel cable rated at 160 lbs.

The KioskGem™ Backlit LCD 1x5 models are Topaz's small, ruggedized electronic signature pads for use in public-access or unsupervised kiosk environments.
The KioskGem® Backlit LCD 1x5 models integrate all the high-quality biometric and forensic capture techniques of a SignatureGem® devices, with the added ruggedisations, and they feature of a bright backlit LCD interactive display.
The signature tablet bolts to a housing with no exposed fasteners and the pen is tethered with a steel cable rated at 160 lbs.
SignatureGem® LCD 1x5 includes all the high-quality features of our electronic signature pad with the added feature of an LCD interactive display, allowing users to see "electronic ink" under the pen tip as they sign as well as navigate and display text and graphics. The wide signing area and rugged tempered glass signing surface make this a versatile pad for the most demanding applications.
The Backlit LCD model has a 1" x 5" transflective LCD screen with a bright backlight for improved viewing in any ambient lighting conditions.
*Signatures appear on the pad screen under-the-pen as the user signs. In addition, the LCD display can be used to display information to the user, and can also display on-screen buttons, hot-spots and checkboxes.
The "-HSB" model is a USB-connected device which uses the Human Interface Device (HID) class of USB driver built into Microsoft Windows and other leading operating systems and computers.
This model has a three-year Manufacturer's Warranty. However, even after this warranty period has passed (or if the repair is outside the terms of the warranty) we can offer a lifetime service to repair or refurbish the unit (if possible) for a modest charge.
