The Socket Mobile DuraScan D840 is a ruggedised, credit-card-sized 1D/2D Bluetooth barcode scanner. It shares the slim form factor of the 800 Series but is encased in a durable, rubberised material for enhanced drop protection.

  • Versatile 2D Imaging: High-performance scanning engine that captures all 1D and 2D barcodes (including QR codes, Data Matrix, and PDF417) from paper and digital screens.

  • Attachable Mobility: Specifically engineered for one-handed operation. It includes a Universal Klip for attaching the scanner to the back of a mobile phone or its protective case.

  • Antimicrobial Housing: Features antimicrobial materials to inhibit the growth of bacteria, ensuring the device is safe for high-touch environments such as healthcare or food service.
