The Newland BS80 Piranha II is a compact, pocket-sized wireless barcode scanner built for mobile workforce applications, inventory checks, field sales, and queue busting. Small enough to fit in a shirt pocket or hang from a neck lanyard, it pairs directly with iOS, Android, and Windows smartphones, tablets, or mobile computers using Bluetooth wireless technology.

Designed for daily mobility, the BS80 Piranha II features a 900 mAh rechargeable battery that provides up to 11 hours of continuous scanning between charges. This range is available in a 1D CCD model for standard linear barcodes or a 2D CMOS model for scanning 2D codes, such as QR codes and Data Matrix symbols, off printed labels and mobile device displays.
