The Evolis Primacy 2 is a high-performance, next-generation card printer designed for organisations that require speed, security, and versatility. As the successor to the world-renowned Primacy, this model is one of the fastest on the market, capable of printing up to 280 full-colour cards per hour. It is the ideal solution for medium-to-large volume card issuance, including corporate ID badges, student cards, and secure financial cards.

With a modular design that allows for on-site upgrades—including dual-sided printing, lamination, and various encoding options—the Primacy 2 is built to evolve alongside your business requirements.

  • Rapid Print Speeds: Boost productivity with speeds up to 280 cards per hour (single-sided colour) and up to 1,000 cards per hour in monochrome.

  • High-Resolution Output: Delivers stunning results with 300dpi as standard, with customisable modes up to 600dpi (colour) or 1200dpi (monochrome) for micro-text and high-detail logos.

  • Dual Printing Technologies: Combines traditional dye-sublimation for vibrant colour with built-in rewritable technology, allowing you to erase and reprint temporary cards (like visitor badges) hundreds of times.

  • Advanced Data Security: Protect sensitive information with Digital Erasing (wiping data from printer memory) and the optional Kineclipse® feature, which masks sensitive data left on used ribbons.

  • Large Capacity & Autonomy: Features a 100-card input hopper (upgradable to 200 cards) and a 100-card output hopper, minimising the need for manual intervention during batch runs.

  • Future-Proof Modularity: Easily add on-site upgrades such as a card lamination module (CLM), LCD touch screen, or encoders for magnetic stripes and smart chips.
