Tough Kitchen Ticket Printer Built for Busy Restaurants

In hot, noisy kitchens, standard paper receipts fail quickly. Heat from ovens can turn thermal paper completely black, and silent printers mean orders get missed. The Epson TM-U220IIB is a heavy-duty impact printer made specifically for kitchen passes, takeaways, and busy bars.

Using ink ribbons instead of heat, it prints clear order tickets that stay readable in hot, steamy environments. The distinct mechanical sound of the printer acts as a natural alarm, so your kitchen staff hear every new order come through during busy shifts.

Choose the Right Connection for Your Till System

This printer comes in two setup options to match your till system:

• USB Version (C31CL27102B0): Connects directly to a single till or cash register on your counter using a standard USB cable.

• Ethernet / LAN Version (C31CL27142): Plugs into your network router so front-of-house staff can send orders directly from handheld tablets straight to the kitchen.

Key Features

• Heat-Proof Printing: Uses an ink ribbon instead of heat-sensitive paper, so your kitchen tickets will not turn black near hot ovens or grills.

• Loud Ticket Sound: The clear printing sound alerts your kitchen team as soon as a new order arrives, even in noisy kitchens.

• Prints Duplicate Copies: Easily prints 2-ply or 3-ply paper rolls so you can give one copy to waiting staff and keep another in the kitchen.

• Quick Paper Changes: Drop-in paper loading lets staff replace paper rolls in seconds without slowing down service.

• Easy Hardware Upgrade: Same size as older Epson TM-U220 models, so it fits straight onto your existing shelves or wall mounts.

• No Missed Orders: Upgraded memory allows the printer to handle multiple orders from different tills or order tablets at the same time.
