1. Integrated Label Taken Sensor (LTS)

The TSP143IV SK features a mechanical paper-retention sensor at the exit mouth. When printing multi-item online delivery orders or kitchen prep sequences, the printer holds the next job in the queue until the operator has physically removed the current sticky label. This prevents consecutive labels from packing together or sticking to one another during rapid ticket printing.

2. Specialised Anti-Stick Guillotine Cutter

Standard receipt printer cutters will jam immediately if used with adhesive media. The TSP143IV SK features a heavy-duty, teflon-coated guillotine cutter designed to slice clean through repositionable adhesives without accumulating sticky residue, ensuring a long operational lifespan.

3. Android Open Accessory (AOA) Protocol

The integrated USB-A port supports Android Open Accessory (AOA) technology. When connected to a compatible Android tablet via a standard USB cable, the printer establishes a direct, physical data connection while simultaneously delivering a 1.5A charge to the tablet. This prevents network dropouts on tablet-based till points.

4. Built-In CloudPRNT Next Technology

Running on the modern MQTT communication protocol, Star's CloudPRNT Next allows the printer to communicate directly with web servers. It pulls and prints online orders from platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Deliveroo, or Uber Eats web portals automatically, bypassing the need for a local PC or tablet to act as an intermediary bridge.
