By sending weight numbers to your till automatically, the CAS PDN stops staff from making typing mistakes, protects your profits, speeds up customer queues, and makes sure your pricing is accurate every time.

The CAS PDN uses a dual-range weighing system. It weighs in 2g steps for lighter items up to 6kg, and 5g steps for heavier items up to 15kg. This makes it a great choice for everything from sweets and coffee beans to heavy fruit, vegetables, and meat.

Key Features

  • Connects directly using a serial (RS-232) or USB cable. It uses standard CAS PD-II commands, so it works right out of the box with almost all UK retail till software.

  • UK Trade Approved (Class III): Stamped and verified for UK Weights & Measures laws (UKCA/CE marked). This scale is "Legal for Trade," meaning you can legally sell items by weight across the UK and Europe straight away.

  • Accurate Dual-Range Weighing: Switches accuracy automatically based on weight (2g steps from 0–6kg / 5g steps from 6–15kg).

  • Low-Profile Design: At just 82mm high, it sits flat on your counter or can be dropped into your worktop for a flush look.

  • Easy-to-Read Screen Options: Available with built-in screens on the front and back, or with a customer-facing pole display.

  • Easy-Clean Stainless Steel Plate: Comes with a strong 380mm x 280mm stainless steel top plate that wipes clean easily and is safe for food.

  • Zero & Tare Buttons: Simple buttons let staff clear the weight of bags, boxes, or containers before weighing items.

Choose Your Scale Type

You can buy the CAS PDN 15kg scale in two different styles depending on your counter layout:

  1. Standard Bench Scale (SKU: CS-PDN15): Has two built-in LED screens on the scale body (one for the cashier, one for the customer). Made to sit directly on top of your counter.

  2. Remote Pole Display Scale (SKU: CS-PDN15POLE): Comes with a separate LED screen mounted on a pole. Best for counters where the scale is sunken into the worktop, keeping the screen easy for customers to read at eye level.
